Geelong & Surfcoast Street Surfer Bus Program (GSSSB)

The GSSSB project is an exciting initiative that involves Victoria Police (Barwon Region) and several community service organisations in Geelong and the Surfcoast in the conversion of a commercial passenger bus into a Street Surfer Bus. The bus will be out-fitted with computer game equipement, TV/DVD player, professional DJ sound system, tea & coffee making facilities, sports eqiupment, BBQ and an area where young please can talk to a youth worker and access information.

The GSSSB will specifically focus on youth and will travel to locations where young people may potentially be involved in risk taking behaviour within the Geelong and Surfcoast areas. For more information on the Street Surfer Bus program, please collow the link www.streetsurferbus.com
