Education Training & Employment

JOB PLACEMENT, EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING
JPET is a program that assists young people between the ages of 15-21 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. JPET works with young people who have many personal and social difficulties in their lives to get things together. JPET staff give advice and support to find housing, work or help with finances, assist in finding accommodation. Young people are encouraged to participate in group work and a range of activities and deal with difficult situations.

FURTHER EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAMS
The Education & Training program provides a hands on, active option for young people aged 16-21 years who are no longer in the mainstream education system. The program is based on the Certificate of General Education and offers electives studies.

SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAM
The School Support Program develops and delivers school based early intervention and prevention programs for young people at risk of not completing year 12 or its equivalent qualification and/or for young people who are struggling with the school environment. Youth workers provide information, referral, advocacy, counselling and assistance for young students at risk.
Program funded by Clonard College & Geelong High School.

YOUTH TRANISITION SUPPORT
The Youth Transition Support Initiative is aimed at “getting young people back on track” by improving the pathways and opportunities for young people disengaged from education and training. The program supports young people aged between 15-19 years.

YOUTH PATHWAYS
Youth Pathways is a program that assists young people aged between 13 - 19 years complete school, and move to further education training or employment. Youth Pathways is for young people who are struggling at school, finding things too intense or are thinking of leaving. Youth Pathways staff will help the young person get through school or make the move to other education and training options.
