Youth Support

YOUTH JUSTICE COMMUNITY SUPPORT (YJCSS)
The JYCSS Program  provides intensive case management and  support to young people on Youth Justice Orders who are assessed as experiencing a range of high level needs. The Program has a particular focus on assistance  with vocational, educational, drug and alcohol, housing and connectedness to family and the community.

LOCAL SUPPORT PROGRAM (LSP)
The Local Support Program (LSP) provides support to young people aged 12 – 25 years disadvantaged by their socio-economic circumstances. The program provides an immediate intake response, identification/assessment of needs, referral, advocacy, information, interim support and access to group work.

MENTORING PROGRAM
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS)
The BBBS program matches young people who may benefit from additional friendship and support with positive adult volunteers from the community. Young people are aged 12-18, from the Northern/Eastern suburbs and maybe disengaged from education or training.

YOUTH JUSTICE GROUP CONFERENCING
A program based on restorative justice principles.  It provides a problem-solving approach to offending that aims to balance the needs of young people, victims and the community. It encourages dialogue between individuals who have offended , their victims and police.
